Black Soldier Fly Larva is a wonderful staple for many reptiles.
Weight: 4g averages to about 100 BSFL.
Storage for BSFL is very easy! You have two options either storing at room temperature where they will grow if you feed them or you can keep them in the refrigerator to keep them longer. Please be advised if storing in the refrigerator you want to make sure they are in the door or warmer part. Best option is using a wine cooler so they don't get to cold.
Fun Tip: When the Larva turns into the Fly your reptile can eat the Fly! Some reptiles like to eat the fly better then the larva.
